The Environmental Technician supports field programming as the Coffee Project advances through permitting, engineering, and resource expansion drilling. You will collect environmental samples, maintain monitoring equipment, inspect compliance activities, and organize documentation. The position suits candidates with environmental monitoring experience and northern or remote field backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect field data and samples for environmental monitoring programs
- Prepare, package, and ship samples to laboratories
- Calibrate and maintain field monitoring equipment
- Conduct inspections supporting management plans and permit compliance
- Document incidents, spills, deficiencies, and environmental data
Requirements:
- One to four years of environmental monitoring experience
- Certificate, diploma, or bachelor’s degree in an environmental discipline
- Class 5 driver’s licence
- Outdoor experience in northern or remote environments
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency
