Reporting to Mill Maintenance Supervisors, the Tool Crib Attendant maintains Tool Crib inventory and distributes supplies to the Mill Maintenance Team. The work includes issuing tools, tracking returns, repairing or replacing tools, and organizing parts and tooling. Mechanical aptitude, parts manual experience, and industrial experience support this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue tools as required to maintenance team members
- Record tools taken and returned accurately
- Repair broken tools or arrange necessary repairs
- Replace missing tools and return parts properly
- Maintain consumables, safety equipment, and organized rooms
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude highly desirable
- Parts manual and component identification experience an asset
- Prior industrial setting experience preferred
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift equipment exceeding 25 kilograms
