Teach Waldorf Kindergarten in Edmonton with WISE, using imaginative play, storytelling, and outdoor exploration. This 0.625 FTE role runs Wednesday through Friday.

The WISE Charter School seeks a Waldorf Kindergarten Teacher for temporary maternity leave coverage through June 30, 2027. Plan developmentally appropriate programming, maintain a calm classroom, and support children's academic, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. Waldorf experience is preferred, with in-house mentoring available for teachers recent to the pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan lessons, annual programming, and ongoing pedagogical review
- Create a beautiful, tidy, calm Waldorf classroom environment
- Facilitate celebrations, field trips,



and festival events
- Assess, document, and report student progress
- Communicate with parents and collaborate with colleagues

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Education degree
- Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Waldorf knowledge, certification, or experience preferred
- Experience teaching children aged six and under preferred
- Police check, First Aid, and CPR/AED Level C required
