The Resident Care Manager oversees long-term care operations and reports to the Director of Care. This temporary full time position coordinates assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The manager supports resident wellness while maintaining applicable provincial standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage resident care services across the long-term care residence
- Oversee resident welcoming, move-ins, and completed assessments
- Schedule pre-move-in, move-in, and annual care conferences
- Provide feedback and enforce policies, procedures, and standards
- Assume department or residence management responsibilities when leaders are absent
Requirements:
- At least five years of progressive clinical nursing experience
- At least five years of leadership experience
- Current provincial registration in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
