This Structural Engineer position requires P.Eng. registration with PEO and at least five years of related experience. You will design residential, commercial, and industrial structural projects, coordinating with project teams, clients, consultants, and the principal engineer. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural project design and analysis across multiple project types
- Prepare calculations, specifications, drawings, reports, and contract documents
- Review drawings, shop drawings, submissions, and design conformity
- Conduct site reviews, inspections, field reviews, and site reports
- Coordinate project requirements with teams, clients, and consultants
Requirements:
- PEO registration as a Professional Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited Canadian university
- At least five years of related work experience
- Exceptional Ontario Building Code and material design code knowledge
- CAD proficiency, robust communication, and problem-solving skills
