Lead construction quality assurance and control at Agnico Eagle’s Detour Lake Mine through field inspections, documentation, and contractor coordination. Work a 7/7 or 14/14 schedule.
Reporting to the Lead, QA/QC - Construction, you will implement and maintain the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program. You will verify contractor compliance with codes, regulations, specifications, and company standards. The work requires field presence, solid documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections using checklists against required quality standards
- Monitor contractors’ compliance with codes and project specifications
- Identify non-conformances and track corrective actions through completion
- Prepare inspection reports, deficiency logs,
and quality records
- Coordinate witness points, stop points, and deficiency meetings
Requirements:
- Five years of QA/QC experience in construction or related industries
- Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations
- Experience with inspection, testing, and audit processes
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong communication, training, and stakeholder management skills
