Hydro Tech seeks a skilled Hydro Mechanical Engineer for planning, design, and construction management. The work supports generator and turbine overhauls, intake and spill gates, environmental compatibility, and safety requirements. You will coordinate project contributors and manage technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design upgrades for generator and turbine overhauls
- Develop major projects, including budgeting and quoting
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and machine shops
- Complete drawings and designs using AutoCAD Inventor
- Review drawings, inspections, shop status, and site work
Requirements:
- P.Eng. designation or mechanical technology diploma
- Three years minimum hydroelectric plant experience with diploma
- Technical leadership for mechanical generator troubleshooting
- Class G driver’s license
- International travel willingness and robust communication skills
