Apply IT audit expertise at West Fraser’s Vancouver Corporate office, assessing controls and using data analytics onsite four days weekly. Travel is approximately 5%–15%.

West Fraser is recruiting an Internal IT Auditor or Senior IT Internal Auditor. You will support assurance, advisory, Value for Money, and Compliance engagements. The work covers risk assessments, audit planning, control documentation, testing, findings, recommendations, and remediation. IT General Controls, IT Application Controls, SOX, COSO, and ERP knowledge support this mandate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist assigned IT audit assurance and advisory engagements
- Perform risk assessments and determine audit focus
- Plan reviews and apply data analytics to critical risks




- Develop audit programs, test plans, findings, and recommendations
- Coordinate remediation and closure of control gaps

Requirements:

- University degree in Business, Accounting, or IT
- Three to four years of IT systems or audit experience
- Knowledge of SOX, COSO, and IT controls
- Advanced MS Office and Excel knowledge
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Support West Fraser’s internal audit work through IT controls testing, risk assessment, data analytics, and practical remediation in Vancouver.
