Deliver rapid assessment and emergency nursing care as a Registered Nurse at CGMH, serving the South Georgian Bay community on 12-hour shifts.

This Registered Nurse position supports CGMH’s Emergency Department, caring for more than 34,000 patients annually. Provide triage, trauma, resuscitation, medical, and surgical care while applying critical thinking, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The department serves diverse patient populations in a rapid-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care through rapid assessment
- Provide treatment, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Support therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care
- Maintain compassionate, patient-centered professional practice
- Adhere to College of Nurses of Ontario standards

Requirements:

- Registration as an RN with the College of Nurses
- One year of recent acute care nursing experience
- ACLS certification and Physical Assessment course
- Current emergency nursing experience preferred
- CTAS, PALS, TNCC, or Meditech Expanse preferred
