As Plant Manager, you oversee Wakefield’s manufacturing plant within the Supply Chain Leadership Team. You manage operations, quality, service levels, expenses, regulatory compliance, and annual manufacturing objectives. The position also connects Manufacturing with Production Planning, Inventory and Demand Planning, and Distribution Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sponsor HSSE principles and establish operational metrics
- Manage annual plant manufacturing objectives and regulatory compliance
- Develop operating budgets from forecasts and plant capacities
- Lead continuous improvement across plant operations
- Coach management teams and develop direct reports
Requirements:
- Minimum six years’ supply chain management experience
- Manufacturing operations, systems, ERP, and change leadership experience
- HSSE and manufacturing compliance knowledge
- Budgeting, planning, scheduling, and production management capability
- Solid problem solving, communication, negotiation, planning, and leadership skills
