Teach guest services and hotel operations at SIIT, using instructional communication and student-focused guidance. This contract runs from October 26 to December 21, 2026.

The Guest Services Representative Applied Certificate Instructor delivers SIIT programming and promotes student success. You will organize classroom activities, guide learning, and support students through practicums. The work includes evaluating progress, maintaining records, and promoting SIIT’s vision, mission, and mandate. Knowledge of adult learning theories is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver hotel operations and guest services course content
- Coordinate and supervise student practicums
- Complete attendance records and course evaluations




- Evaluate and record student progress within set timeframes
- Maintain inclusive classrooms and recommend curriculum modifications

Requirements:

- Three to six years of related industry experience
- Experience in hotel, restaurant, guest services, or tourism
- Genuine commitment to helping students learn and succeed
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Guest services certification is an asset
