Reporting to the Director of the Animal Resources Division, this full-time manager oversees animal facilities at the MGH site. The work includes personnel leadership, policies and procedures, infrastructure, equipment, and operational support. The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre conducts biomedical and hospital research.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage animal facility staff and assess staffing requirements
- Develop and implement facility operations policies and procedures
- Allocate resources and coordinate renovation projects
- Prepare budgets and monitor costs,



equipment, and space
- Preside at staff meetings and participate in committees

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- At least five years of animal facility managerial experience
- CALAS or AALAS certification considered an asset
- Robust analytical, organizational, and decision-making capacity
- Bilingual spoken and written communication skills
