Design high-performance electronic products as a Senior Hardware Engineer specializing in advanced silicon, high-speed signaling, and board ownership.
At Broadcom, you will develop and deliver complex products while potentially providing technical leadership to a small design team. The work spans circuit design, board development, validation, and product sustaining. You will collaborate with Hardware, ASIC, Signal, Mechanical, Thermal, Diagnostic, Packaging, and Manufacturing engineers. Joint development programs may involve partner engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ultra high-performance electronic products
- Create bills of materials for hardware programs
- Design, develop, and validate circuits and boards
- Support customer trials, field issues,
and product sustaining
- Participate from product inception through volume production
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Five or more years of related experience
- Experience with large high-powered SOCs and advanced packaging
- Experience with 112G+ SerDes high-speed signaling
- Experience with power and thermal issues on 1kW+ PCBs
