About the role The Operator Control Room which offers an exceptional opportunity to monitor and track the underground operations via a computer-based control system. The operator will be responsible to ensure safe, cost-effective transportation of ore, waste, fill and the movement of people, material, and equipment. The control room also serves as the communication centre for all mine operating and emergency responses and monitoring of safety systems. This role is to recruit for an existing vacancy.

The position will be on a 7 day on / 7 day off - 12 hour day schedule and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.

We offer a market-competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 CAD.

Key result areas in this role include:

Regulatory & Policy Compliance

Ensure all practices and activities comply with the Ontario OH&S; Act, Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants, and other relevant legislation.

Maintain alignment with company policies, procedures, and safety principles.

Safety Monitoring & Risk Management

Monitor alarms and promptly notify supervision and underground personnel of adverse seismic activity, elevated
