Our expanding Finance team is seeking a Junior Accountant who is eager to support new business growth while delivering strong results across back-end accounting processes and systems. This role requires a solid working knowledge of GAAP and strong financial analysis skills. Hands-on with day-to-day accounting functions Adaptable in environments with shifting priorities and a deadline-driven setting Ensure proper coding of invoices to the correct general ledger accounts, locations, and periods Ensure invoices are approved in accordance with Company authorization policies Prepare and process weekly payment runs, ensuring vendors are paid within agreed payment terms Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate reconciling items Review and process employee expense reports for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems, processes,



and reporting workflows Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and special projects 2+ years of related accounting experience ~ University degree in accounting is considered an asset ~ Solid experience in full-cycle accounting ~ Familiarity with Xero and/or hospitality industry experience is an asset ~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), business finance, and applicable tax laws ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Compensation within the range will be determined by evaluating factors such as job‑related skills, education and/or training, and relevant qualified experience.
