Certification is required. Proof of a clear criminal record including vulnerable sector check. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience working in a similar capacity, supervising and working with children; experience developing learning activities would be an asset. Our childcare programming supports lifelong learning and we are open to new and informative findings in our field; we are flexible to the learning styles of the children and the educator's teaching styles. Competitive Hourly wages from $21-$25 per hour for ECEs, depending on experience level, plus 4% vacation pay. Qualification for the BC ECE Wage Enhancement and First Nation Specific Wage Enhancements. Preference will be given to candidates of Ktunaxa or other Indigenous ancestry and ʔaq̓am encourages applicants to self-identify within your application.
