Banff Centre is looking for a Building Services Worker to perform essential front line custodial services and care-taking duties, ensuring a high quality environment for all of the public and office areas inside buildings across campus. Washing windows and window ledges Cleaning public toilets, sinks, showers, and change-rooms Building Services Workers may be asked to perform occasional heavy lifting and may also be required to use various cleaning chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Requires minimal direction beyond initial training and assignment of daily responsibilities Due to the nature of the job, this position requires the candidate to be available to work a rotating schedule. In accordance with CUPE 4318, this is a unionized, hourly support staff position, subject to a 500 hour probationary period. This position pays $18.64 per hour, working up to 37.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule.
