Position Overview

The Protection and Control Technician III is an experienced field-based qualified responsible for independently testing, commissioning, maintaining,



and troubleshooting complex protection and control systems. This position also leads assigned field activities, supports customers, and provides technical guidance to junior technicians.

Responsibilities

- Test, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot protection and control systems for transmission, distribution, generation, renewable energy, and industrial facilities.
- Perform relay testing, logic verification, functional testing, and commissioning on SEL and other microprocessor-based relay platforms.
- Test line, transformer, bus, breaker failure, generator,
