As a licensed plumber, responsibilities include the installation, repair and maintenance of plant equipment, pumps and pipe lines pertaining to production, processing, plant heating system, sprinkler system, water, gas, air, steam and condensate lines. Maintenance and repair of fixtures and plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste water disposal in the domestic and manufacturing buildings.





Key Responsibilities:

- Dismantle, move and connect plant processing, heating and cooling equipment, which includes steam-jacketed kettles, storage kettles, storage tanks, heat exchangers, filters, presses, unit heaters, radiators, sinks and associated equipment.
- Locate and remove faulty valves, fittings, and pipes, etc.
- Repair pumps, steam pressure reducing valves, steam traps, and other such accessories.
- Perform pipe covering, insulation and lagging of hot water vessels as well as maintenance and repair of all plumbing fixtures
- Perform welding tasks related to the installation or maintenance of plant equipment and piping.
