Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced CPA-designated finance leader to lead the Canadian finance function for a growing organization.
This role has two important priorities. First, you will lead and develop a team of four finance professionals, assessing the team's current capabilities and helping shape the structure, skills, and responsibilities needed to support the future of the business. This may involve coaching and developing existing team members, redefining responsibilities, or evolving the team structure as the organization grows.

With a systems implementation underway and several processes that are currently inconsistent or not clearly defined, you will have the opportunity to establish better ways of working, improve controls, standardize processes, and create a more scalable finance operation.
Alongside these priorities, you will oversee financial reporting, controls, compliance, planning, and transactional finance while partnering with senior leaders on business performance and strategic decisions.
