This position may be based at various Metro locations across Ontario. The successful candidate's designated work location will be determined based on their location and business needs.
SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor supervises preventive and corrective maintenance work for assigned stores.
Ensures all work is completed within our standards in a timely and economical manner.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises preventative and corrective maintenance work for various properties (roofing, plumbing, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, etc.) as well as various project work
- Coordinates and monitors tasks related to the proper maintenance of stores equipment as well as general maintenance services (janitorial, waste removal, snow removal, landscaping, etc.)
- Completes various audits (Preventive Maintenance Visits (PMV), environmental, store, janitorial, energy, etc.)
- Evaluates after inspection, the appropriate corrective measures to be taken
- Ensures the respect of established standards, while completing all tasks in a timely and economical manner
- Evaluates quotations and negotiates prices and /or contents as needed
- Prepares work requisition and transmit same for appropriate approval
- Manages, analyze, periodic expense reports to ensure budget is respected
- Verifies and approves all corrective work invoices for
