The Occupational Therapist works within an interprofessional rehabilitation team and collaborates with a Physiotherapist. This clinician assesses occupational performance, develops care plans, educates patients and families, evaluates progress, and identifies supplementary assessments or referrals. The work includes fractures, joint replacement, and geriatric rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess occupational performance, component skills, and environmental factors
- Develop care plans for rehabilitation patients
- Provide patient and family education
- Evaluate progress and identify supplementary referrals




- Participate in team meetings, rounds, and quality initiatives

Requirements:

- Recognized post-secondary Occupational Therapy program completion
- Current good-standing Ontario occupational therapist registration
- Minimum one year of relevant clinical experience
- Evidence-based occupational therapy and interprofessional care competence
- Solid judgment, communication, organization, and time management skills
