About the Role

McKesson Canada is seeking a Registered Staff Pharmacist to join our growing Specialty Pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of specialty medications, providing clinical expertise and patient counseling, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with all provincial regulatory requirements and company policies.

What You’ll Do

- Accurately review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions.
- Provide patient counseling, medication education, and follow-up as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinics, nurses, drug plans, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt, renew, and initiate prescriptions in accordance with provincial regulations and scope of practice.
- Provide medication and drug information to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
- Support specialty medication management, including biologics and complex therapies.
- Supervise and provide oversight to pharmacy assistants, technicians, and support staff.
