Position Overview

The Protection and Control Technician IV is a senior field-based technical expert responsible for leading complex testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting projects involving electrical protection and control systems.





This position serves as a technical authority, leads field execution, resolves advanced system issues, and provides mentorship to technicians across multiple experience levels.

Responsibilities

- Lead testing, commissioning, startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex protection and control systems.
- Serve as the lead field technician on major substation, utility, industrial, and renewable energy projects.
- Test advanced protection schemes, including line current differential, distance, bus differential, breaker failure, auto-reclosing,
