The successful candidate will work closely with an entrepreneurial executive team and have exposure to a diverse and growing portfolio of residential, purpose-built rental and other real estate projects.

The Role:
The Financial Controller will oversee the financial requirements of the business, with responsibility for day-to-day accounting,



financial reporting, job costing, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
The role will also support project financing, lender relationships, housing funding programs, and the continued development of financial systems and processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Monthly P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow reporting and analysis
Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
WIP reporting, job costing and project financial analysis
Oversight of AR/AP, payroll-by-job, reconciliations and month-end close
Monitoring project costs, margins, invoices, change orders, progress billings and holdbacks
Oversight of inventory valuation, purchasing controls, vendor terms and related processes
Developing and implementing solid internal controls and financial workflows
Providing oversight and support to bookkeeping personnel
Supporting CMHC and other housing funding applications, compliance requirements, draws and reporting
