Support community planning in Duncan with qualified land use expertise, development services knowledge, and collaborative work with diverse partners. The Cowichan Valley Regional District seeks a Planner II or III for Land Use Services. Reporting to planning leadership, this position supports long-term growth objectives through development applications, community planning, and related initiatives. The initial assignment is within Development Services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional land use planning expertise
- Support development applications and long-range planning initiatives
- Collaborate with CVRD divisions, agencies, and First Nations
- Serve applicants, the public, and elected officials
- Support community planning and long-term growth objectives

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in planning or related field
- Planner II: four years of related experience
- Planner III: eight years of related experience
- MCIP and RPP membership or eligibility
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence Bring land use planning expertise and collaborative service skills to the CVRD’s Development Services work in Duncan.
