DutiesandResponsibilities: PrimaryResponsibilities:
- Providingpersonalizedandexceptionalguestserviceateverygivenopportunity
- AccountabletotheOwner,guests,employees
- Ensuresthatthepastryshopisrunningasmoothandefficientmannerthroughthesupervision,traininganddirectionofthebakerystaff
- Hires,dischargesandschedulesstaffasrequired
- AssiststheExecutiveChefintheannualbudgetingactivatedwithrespecttocostingandmaintainingbudgetguidelinesassetoutbytheGeneralManager
- Designs,presentsandimplementsthedessertmenufortheRestaurant
- Participatesandsupervisesallbakingactivitiesofthebakery
- Ordersallfoodinventoriestomeetthebakedrequirementsofthehotelrestaurants
- CompletesallnecessaryreportsandorderformsasrequiredbytheExecutiveChef
- HavingathoroughknowledgeofLaisHotelProperties’productsandservices
- SuggestingadditionalproductsandservicesmeetingourGuests’specificpreferences
- Allotherdutiesasassigned Technical/Managerial/AdministrativeRequirements:
- Supervisoryexperienceandbudgetingknowledgeand/orexperience
- Excellentcommunicationsskillsbothwrittenandoral ProfessionalRequirements:

- CompletedapprenticeshiprequirementsforOntario
- 7-10yearsexperienceinabakeryinaprogressiveposition
- CurrentSafeFoodHandler’sCertificate
