Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Welders are responsible for repairing and maintaining site structures and equipment in a shop or field environment. This is a full‑time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights. The position is site‑based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and fabricate site structures and equipment in all areas of active mining, mine maintenance, and processing Grind, gouge and repair cracks in haul truck bodies, shovel buckets, dozer blades,



and other mining equipment Conduct inspections on mining equipment and structures and perform preventative maintenance as needed Use the following welding processes: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Welder Certification B Pressure welding ticket would be considered an asset Previous mining experience is an asset Two Annual Performance Bonuses Trades Retention Bonus Health Lifestyle Account Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage Retirement Package Relocation Assistance $Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location.
