Review similar test plans and reports written by subtier suppliers. Review and approve engineering drawings and manufacturing techniques sheets Collaborate with Production, Methods, Quality & Logistics to resolve day-to-day production issues that are related to material and processes. Support process improvement and cost reduction projects per schedule and highlight risks/issues in a timely manner. You have a degree in Materials, Chemical or Mechanical engineering from an accredited university You are knowledgeable about typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as MIL specs, Federal regulations, ASTM, ISO,



SAE specifications and CMH-17 You have an extended knowledge of the different composite materials that are used in the aerospace industry, mainly epoxy carbon fiber prepreg, but also fiberglass, aramid fibers and phenolic resins Knowledge in flammability regulations and requirements is an asset You are aware of the main composite manufacturing processes, their controls, and inspection methods You are knowledgeable in engineering design principles and reviewing drawings.
