The Recreation Department at Esquimalt is looking for a motivated Out of School Care Leader. This position involves varied shifts between 6:30-9:15 am and 2:00-6:00 pm, where you will supervise snacks, lead engaging activities, and ensure children’s safety during transportation and play. Join a team dedicated to enhancing children's experiences in recreation. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise snack times and meals efficiently
- Accompany children between facilities safely
- Lead gym, playground, crafts, and swimming sessions
- Manage behavior and communication with parents
- Administer First Aid and medication as needed

Requirements:

- At least 19 years of age
- 20 hours coursework in child development or safety
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C Certification
- Explicit Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
