Your role involves installing, programming, and maintaining security systems for small to medium projects while providing exceptional customer service. Convergint is seeking a passionate Junior Security Technician to join our team. Working under direct supervision, you'll handle installation, system start-up, and customer training. This position requires a developing skill set in electronic security systems and troubleshooting. You will also respond to service calls and assist in project commissioning. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and program electronic security systems
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls
- Diagnose and troubleshoot various equipment issues
- Complete detailed service reports accurately
- Mentor less experienced technicians on best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of relevant field experience
- Experience in the electronic and security industry preferred
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude required
- Valid driver's license for jobsite visits
