The location in Montreal ( Quebec, Canada ), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Manager, Financial Planning, Costing & Internal Reporting . This job is full-time permanent . Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Financial Planning, Costing & Internal Reporting is responsible for leading all financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, costing and management reporting activities. The successful candidate will act as a strategic business partner to Operations and Senior Leadership, supporting informed decision-making and continuous business performance improvement. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes. Coordinate monthly forecasting cycles across business units and operations. Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses. Oversee costing, variance and profitability analysis activities. Ensure governance and continuous improvement of reporting processes. Support strategic projects, restructurings, productivity initiatives and capital investments. Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Performance Analyze variances related to raw materials, labor, energy, maintenance and conversion costs.



Partner with plant controllers and operational leaders to improve performance visibility and decision-making. Establish clear priorities, objectives and performance expectations. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Support talent development and succession planning. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. ~ 7-10 years of progressive finance experience. ~ Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting. ~ Experience with SAP, Power BI and advanced Excel. ~ Bilingual English and French.
