Build payment technology for CIBC in Toronto using Go, Java, REST APIs, and full-stack development across integrated systems. As a Senior Consultant, Full Stack Developer, you will support CIBC’s Core Banking and Payments Technology team. You will develop, test, and support cross-functional, multi-platform applications for complex payment assignments. Your work will translate business requirements into secure, integrated solutions aligned with the technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Design backend services and REST APIs using Go and Java Develop and test complex payment-related computer programs Build full-stack solutions integrating systems, data sources,
and APIs Coordinate technical design and application system integration Document functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations
Requirements:
Five-plus years supporting card-issuing payment systems Familiarity with VISA, Mastercard, and card transaction lifecycles Eight-plus years integrating APIs and event-driven systems Strong relational database knowledge, including schema design and migrations Familiarity with secure API design, Git, and cooperative workflows Apply payment systems expertise, Go, Java, and API integration skills to CIBC’s Toronto technology team.
