Lead quality management and Point of Care Testing at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, working days Monday through Friday.

This permanent full time position reports to the Integrated Director Laboratory Services. The Medical Laboratory Technologist Charge implements, maintains, and improves quality systems. The role supports laboratory, specimen collection, and Hospital POCT programs through audits, quality indicators, corrective actions, and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement, maintain, and improve the quality management system
- Coordinate POCT quality control and external quality assessment
- Investigate non-conformances and develop corrective action plans
- Prepare audits, quality indicators, and management reports




- Provide oversight to Laboratory Technicians during daily operations

Requirements:

- Recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program graduate
- Current general registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
- Point of Care Testing Specialist and Quality Management certificates
- Two years of Quality Management and POCT experience
- Working knowledge of QMS, QA, QC, POCT, CLSI, and ACD requirements
