Drive package pickups and deliveries as a Seasonal Utility Courier in Fort McMurray, using package scanners and vehicle inspection reports. This is on-road work.
Purolator is hiring for its Fort McMurray Depot at #1 240 MacKay Crescent. You will support daily schedules through domestic shipping, courier services, and shipping and receiving operations. The temporary seasonal position is expected to continue until December 2026, with possible extension into March 2027 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver customer packages on daily schedules
- Scan packages and mail at each processing stage
- Resolve road problems with Dispatch and customers
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Advise the unit manager when inspections fail
Requirements:
- Hold a valid non-probationary Driver's License
- Provide a clean, current driving abstract
- Pass written, road, and Defensive Driving tests
- Complete Courier Methods training successfully
- Lift or carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds
