Maintain mechanical systems at Saputo’s Edmonton plant as an Industrial Millwright, using troubleshooting and repair skills on a rotating schedule.
This full-time Millwright position supports a 24/7 dairy manufacturing operation. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and automated equipment. The work requires technical drawing interpretation, preventative maintenance, communication, and adherence to safety and food standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain mechanical systems throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot conveyors, packaging lines, motors, and gearboxes
- Repair homogenizers, heat exchangers, and process equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance and accurate service records
- Support safe, effective production through ongoing communication
Requirements:
- Millwright or Journeyman Certificate
- Three years’ food processing experience considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of GMP and Food Safety Systems preferred
