Who we are Loudspeaker Marketing (LSM), a division of GTM 8020, is an organic growth marketing agency. We help businesses across a wide range of industries, from fast-growing AI/tech startups to e-commerce brands, get found online and generate real leads. Our clients are largely based in the USA and include brands like Upwork, Vitamin Shoppe, and HeyGen. Our focus is twofold: we make sure clients rank in traditional search (SEO) and show up in LLM-powered search results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude). Visibility in both channels drives qualified traffic, which turns into calls, and those calls turn into signed contracts for our clients. The role As an Account Manager, you'll own client relationships end to end: leading client calls, driving the strategy, reporting on performance, and making sure everything we've committed to is delivered on time and meets the standard before it reaches the client. You won't be producing content day to day. Each of your accounts is supported by a Content Writer & Account Associate who handles writing, editing, and publishing. Your job is to set the direction, brief the work, QA what goes out, and own the outcome with the client. That said, you can't manage this work without being able to do it. The best account managers here are the best writers. Briefing a writer well means knowing exactly what good looks like. Catching a weak piece before it reaches a client means having the editorial judgment to see the problem. If your writing and editing instincts are weak, this isn't the role for you. This also isn't a "report the numbers" role. We expect you to think about each client's organic growth as a whole system:
• Own the strategy, not just the deliverables. Connect content strategy to actual business outcomes: not just traffic and impressions, but whether that traffic converts into leads.
• Diagnose, don't just report. When results lag, form a point of view on why. Technical issue? Content quality? Backlink gap? AI engines not crawling? Then drive the fix.
• Spot conversion opportunities. Review where organic traffic lands, identify drop-off points, and recommend tests like landing page changes or CTA placement.
• Tie content performance to pipeline so reporting shows how organic growth drives revenue. You'll run weekly or bi-weekly 30-minute calls with each client (async updates on off weeks), covering what's been published, tasks handled outside the content workflow, and performance metrics.

You'll also coordinate occasional technical SEO fixes and website requests as they come up. How you'll ramp Everyone, regardless of experience, starts by learning our content engine hands-on: how content is generated, fact-checked, and published with our AI systems and tools. You'll write the first few calibration articles for your accounts yourself, which is how we get initial client feedback and how you learn the client's voice. For experienced candidates this is a fast onboarding rather than a probation period, but it isn't optional. We'll be assessing the quality of what you produce during ramp because it's the clearest signal of whether you'll direct writers well. You'll ramp alongside a senior account manager who leads client calls initially while you prepare updates and learn the accounts. Senior candidates should expect to run their accounts independently quickly and take on larger or more complex accounts as they do. Where this role can go Title, scope, and compensation scale with experience and performance. For senior candidates, this seat comes with room to shape how we work: refining our AM playbook, improving reporting and client processes, and mentoring account managers we hire after you. People who take on more than their role asks for and do it well have seen their compensation and scope grow significantly, often within their first 6 to 8 months. What we're looking for Writing, editing & content direction
• You can write and edit publishable content yourself. This is a prerequisite, not a bonus.
• Rigorous fact-checking instincts: verifying statistics, tracing claims to primary sources
• Editorial judgment: you know what "citation-worthy" content looks like
• Briefing writers with enough specificity that they don't have to guess, and giving feedback they can act on
• Content gap analysis, topical authority planning, and an understanding of E-E-A-T and AI trust signals SEO & AI visibility
• Understanding of how LLMs retrieve and cite sources, and familiarity with GEO tactics: entity optimization, citation-worthy structure, schema markup

• Traditional SEO fundamentals: on-page, technical audits, internal linking, site architecture
• Keyword research and intent mapping; competitor analysis across Google and AI answer engines
• Working knowledge of Ahrefs/Semrush, GSC, GA4, and AI visibility trackers such as Profound, Peec, or Otterly Client management & coordination
• Running kickoffs and recurring check-ins; translating SEO and AI work into leads, pipeline, and revenue
• Managing scope, expectations, and timelines without overpromising
• Building dashboards and decks that show progress on traditional and AI visibility metrics
• Handling difficult conversations: slow results, scope creep, churn risk
• Briefing and QA-ing work from writers, SEO specialists, and link builders across multiple clients Soft skills
• Explicit written communication across Slack, email, and Loom
• Proactive ownership: flagging issues before clients notice
• Calm under pressure when results lag or clients push back
• Coachable: you take direct feedback as information, not a verdict Job expectations
• Work 9 am to 5 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, fully remote from Canada. As the lead on client engagements, you may occasionally need to handle an urgent request over the weekend.
• Attend client calls during these hours, camera on and presentable.
• Respond to clients and teammates within about an hour during

working hours
.
• Own the content plan for your accounts: brief your associate, review the work, and sign off before it reaches the client. Our values We're a small, fully remote, fast-moving team. We hire for a growth mindset, pride and care in the work, proactive and clear communication, resourcefulness, taking feedback well, and a give-first attitude: we put the work in before we ask for anything back, with clients and with each other. Who this isn't for We're upfront about fit because it saves everyone time. This probably isn't the right match if:
• Writing and editing aren't your strengths
• You want to be writing full-time (this role is client-facing and strategic)
• You prefer clearly defined hours and a fixed set of assigned tasks
• You wait for direction rather than stretching into recent responsibilities
• Details sometimes slip, like factual accuracy or catching issues before a client does
• Your background is paid media rather than organic growth
