About the Project We are looking for experienced Song Creators and Music Production Experts to support an AI-focused project involving music, sound effects, and audio quality evaluation. This prospect is ideal for professionals with a strong background in songwriting, composition, music production, and audio engineering who are interested in helping improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated audio. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity for candidates based in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed annotation and quality assessment of music, sound effects, and audio content for visual media.
• Evaluate how accurately AI-generated music and audio align with text descriptions and video content, including instrumentation, genre, rhythm, mood, structure, and production quality.
• Identify and describe musical instruments, genres, rhythmic patterns, emotional characteristics, and musical structures.
• Assess audio quality issues, including background noise, distortion, unwanted hum, excessive reverberation, stereo imaging, and dynamic range.
• Apply professional knowledge of songwriting, music theory, composition, arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering to evaluate audio quality.
• Evaluate English-language lyrics for quality, prosody, natural expression, and cultural context.
• Perform quality checks, identify and correct rejected annotation cases, and ensure consistency with project guidelines.
• For film and visual-media scoring, assess audio-visual synchronization, musical cue placement, scene pacing, emotional impact, orchestration, and the balance between music, dialogue, and sound effects. Requirements
• Professional experience in songwriting, music composition, music production, or audio engineering.
• Strong understanding of music theory, including harmony, melody, rhythm,



chords, modes, and musical structure.
• Hands-on experience with arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering.
• Proficiency in at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Pro Tools, or Ableton Live.
• Ability to critically evaluate musical arrangements, timbre, dynamics, stereo imaging, and overall production quality.
• A portfolio showcasing released music, commercial projects, professional credits, or high-quality demos.
• Strong English proficiency (B2 level or above); native or near-native English proficiency is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and meet quality standards in a remote environment.
• Availability to work at least 4 hours per day. Preferred Qualifications
• Degree or formal training in Music, Audio Engineering, Music Production, Composition, or Film Scoring.
• Experience evaluating or annotating AI-generated music and audio.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted music production or AI training datasets.
• Experience with film scoring, interactive audio, or immersive audio.
• Knowledge of multiple genres, including pop, R&B;, electronic, hip-hop, folk, and other mainstream styles.
