We are looking for an experienced Surety Product Owner to work with business stakeholders, product leaders, business analysts, and Agile engineering teams to deliver business capabilities across the Surety platform. ?

Key Responsibilities
• Work with underwriting, operations, billing, and product teams to gather business requirements.
• Understand the Surety bond lifecycle, including new business, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Translate business requirements into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on business needs.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and PI Planning.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and architects on APIs, system integrations, billing, and premium calculations.
• Support integration testing, defect resolution, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).



? Required Skills &

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Surety, Commercial Insurance, Specialty Insurance, or a related business domain.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
• Robust understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, data flows, and system integrations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Surety bonds, underwriting, rating, and billing is preferred.
