About Life and Me Life and Me of Canada Inc. is a Canadian technology company developing innovative AI-powered solutions designed to help individuals better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, and achieve personal goals. We are not a mental health app. Our technology combines artificial intelligence, cultural anthropology and predictive analytics to create personalized, culturally responsive digital experiences. Through Lumi, our AI companion, we aim to develop technology that recognizes the importance of each individual's background, experiences, and aspirations. Our goal is to help individuals break the cycle of generational dysfunction and transform it into a cycle of awareness, understanding, and personal growth for generations to come. As we advance our technology, intellectual property strategy, commercialization, and international expansion, we are seeking professionals who can contribute their expertise to our leadership and governance. The Chance Life and Me is expanding its Board of Advisors and seeking 10 professionals representing distinct areas of expertise and community experience. We believe that developing technology intended to serve diverse populations requires meaningful participation from individuals who understand the needs, challenges, and experiences of those communities.



We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Diaspora Communities
• Cultural Diversity
• Immigrants and Newcomers
• Indigenous Communities
• Youth Communities
• Seniors Communities
• Social Work and Outreach
• Faith-Based Communities
• Addiction and Recovery
• Disability and Accessibility

Key Responsibilities
• Contribute professional knowledge and community perspectives to the company's strategic direction.
• Participate in Board meetings and corporate governance decisions.
• Help identify opportunities to improve the cultural responsiveness, inclusiveness, and accessibility of Life and Me's technology.
• Provide insights into the needs and experiences of diverse communities.
• Support strategic partnerships and relevant professional relationships.
• Contribute to discussions concerning responsible AI development, commercialization, and long-term growth.
• Exercise independent judgment and fulfill applicable corporate governance responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company information and strategic initiatives. Ideal Candidate We welcome applicants who:
• Have demonstrated professional experience or leadership in one or more of the 10 identified areas.
• Are interested in the responsible development of artificial intelligence.




• Understand the importance of cultural and community perspectives in technology development.
• Can contribute practical insights and constructive recommendations.
• Are comfortable participating in the development of an early-stage Canadian technology company.
• Are willing to make a meaningful contribution to the company's long-term success. Previous Board experience is an asset but is not mandatory. Commitment
• Meeting commitment: One scheduled one-hour Board meeting per month.
• Appointment term: 12 months.
• Engagement structure: Part-time, independent contractor arrangement rather than traditional salaried employment. Additional responsibilities or meeting hours would require prior agreement.
