Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time) Join Our Team in Beautiful North Bay Are you passionate about animals and committed to delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our supportive and collaborative team. At our hospital, we pride ourselves on creating a positive workplace where team members work together to provide outstanding care for both pets and their owners. As a key member of our team, you will help create a welcoming experience for clients while supporting the daily operations of our busy veterinary practice.

Key Responsibilities
• Welcome clients and patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Perform front desk and administrative duties, including client and patient intake and discharge
• Schedule appointments appropriately based on patient needs and appointment availability
• Deliver exceptional client service in person and over the phone
• Facilitate clear communication between clients and the veterinary care team
• Assist with client education by reinforcing veterinary recommendations, general pet care guidance, and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate medical and client records in accordance with hospital protocols
• Process invoices, payments, daily cash balancing, and reconciliation accurately
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment




• Support efficient patient flow throughout the hospital Qualifications & Skills
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred
• Experience with Avimark or other veterinary practice management software is considered an asset but is not required
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Compassion and patience when interacting with animals and their owners
• Robust attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work independently while also supporting team goals
