Company DescriptionNextMarvel Inc., part of NextMarvel Group, operates fashion eyewear brands including ZEELOOL and VOOGLAM. VOOGLAM creates expressive eyewear for people who see personal style as creative freedom. Drawing on art, fashion, music, and culture, we help customers make the unexpected part of everyday life. Our global teams collaborate across markets, functions, and time zones. Role OverviewVOOGLAM is seeking a hands-on Social Media & Community Manager to lead organic social across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. You will develop channel strategy, establish practical social media rules and workflows, manage content calendars, publish and optimize content, engage the community, and evaluate performance. You must also be able to adapt existing assets and independently create or edit everyday social content. Working with global teams across markets and time zones, you will translate brand direction into locally relevant execution through clear communication, documentation, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy
• Develop and execute VOOGLAM’s organic social strategy in line with brand positioning, business priorities, campaigns, and target audiences.
• Define the purpose, audience, content pillars, formats, publishing rhythm, and success metrics for each platform.
• Translate product launches, collaborations, campaigns, and brand stories into platform-specific plans.
• Balance planned storytelling with timely, culturally relevant, and reactive content.
• Turn strategy into clear weekly actions, timelines, deliverables, and accountable owners. Social Media Rules and Operations
• Build and maintain VOOGLAM’s social media playbook and implement it in daily operations.
• Establish standards for brand voice, visual presentation, formats, publishing cadence, tagging, links, calls to action, and platform-specific execution.
• Develop workflows for content requests, briefing, production, review, approval, publishing, community response, and reporting.
• Create reusable briefs, calendars, templates, and checklists that improve speed and consistency.
• Establish community-management and escalation rules, including customer-service handoffs and sensitive-topic handling.
• Define standards for UGC permissions, creator-content usage, credits, and asset documentation.
• Audit execution, identify gaps, update rules, and train relevant internal or external partners. Content Planning, Creation, and Publishing
• Own the monthly and weekly social content calendar across priority platforms.
• Write actionable creative briefs covering objectives, audiences, key messages, formats, references, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with creative and content teams on photography, video, graphics, copy, and campaign assets.
• Adapt brand assets into platform-native formats rather than posting identical content across channels.
• Write and edit culturally relevant social copy consistent with VOOGLAM’s voice.
• Manage scheduling, publishing, tagging, links, quality checks, and campaign coordination. Hands-on Design and Editing
• Create and edit routine social content using Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Resize, crop, reformat, and repurpose assets for different platforms and placements.
• Create simple graphics, carousels, Stories, product features, promotional posts, and community content within brand guidelines.
• Edit short-form videos, including clip selection, pacing, transitions, subtitles, music, basic sound adjustments, and formatting.
• Produce fast-turnaround content for trends, product updates, and community moments.
• Know when content can be completed independently and when professional creative support is required.
• Give clear, actionable feedback to designers, editors, copywriters, and external creators. This role does not replace the brand creative team or independently produce major campaign assets. It does require the ability to complete routine social content and basic edits without relying on creative resources for every post. Community Engagement
• Oversee comments, direct messages, mentions, tags, and relevant social conversations.
• Ensure responses are timely, professional, inclusive, and consistent with the brand voice.
• Identify audience interests, recurring questions, sentiment shifts, and emerging community needs.
• Develop initiatives that encourage participation, UGC, feedback, and brand advocacy.
• Coordinate service issues with Customer Experience and share helpful insights with internal teams. Global and Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work effectively with colleagues across countries, cultures, functions, and time zones.
• Translate global strategies into locally and culturally relevant social execution.
• Communicate market insights, audience feedback, platform trends, and risks clearly to global stakeholders.
• Use clear briefs, meeting notes, timelines, decisions, and follow-ups to support asynchronous collaboration.
• Manage input from multiple stakeholders while maintaining ownership, priorities, and deadlines.
• Coordinate launch timing, messaging, content delivery, and approvals across global and regional teams.
• Communicate professionally in English in meetings, briefs, reports, presentations, and daily correspondence. Creator and Partnership Amplification
• Partner with creator and brand-partnership teams on campaign launches, content distribution, and social amplification.
• Identify relevant creators and cultural voices through social listening and engagement.
• Integrate approved creator, PUGC, partnership, and UGC assets into the social calendar.
• Recommend strong creator content for organic social, paid media, website, and other brand touchpoints.
• Support partnership storytelling while the partnership owner manages outreach, negotiation, contracts, and formal deliverables. Performance and Cultural Intelligence
• Monitor platform and content performance using native analytics and social media tools.
• Evaluate audience quality, reach, video retention, saves, shares, engagement quality, traffic, community activity, and assisted business results.
• Deliver concise weekly insights and monthly reports with clear actions.
• Test topics, hooks,
formats, timing, creators, and calls to action, then apply learnings to future plans.
• Identify strong organic content for potential paid amplification with the growth team.
• Monitor platform changes, emerging formats, competitors, and relevant cultural conversations.
• Distinguish short-lived trends from opportunities that genuinely fit VOOGLAM. How Success Will Be Measured
