KUUJJUAQ STATUS: CONTRACTUAL 400 HOURS DURATION: SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER 2026 (WITH A POSSIBILITY OF RENEWAL) Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI) is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik. Would you like to join us for a unique and rewarding experience? Qualifications Teacher’s Certificate / B. Education, preferably with a major in one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Sciences. The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board Requirements
• Experience in adult education.
• Experience in literacy teaching.




• Experience in multi-level classes.
• Experience in teaching the following subjects: Mathematics, sciences and the Microsoft Suite
• Experience teaching in a second language environment would be an asset Assets
• Knowledge and teaching of the MEES programs. Classification / Salary / Benefits Salary & advantages as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $54,119 to $105,432 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
