Role Description The Travel Agent is a full time, on-site role based in Canada. This role involves assisting clients with planning and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, cruises, and car rentals. Day-to-day tasks include managing reservations, preparing travel itineraries, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy in all travel documents. The Travel Agent responds to inquiries, provides recommendations based on client needs and budgets, and resolves issues related to schedule changes or cancellations. The role also includes promoting travel packages, upselling services where appropriate,



and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, destinations, and supplier offerings. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including itinerary planning and booking management.
• Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, with a focus on clear communication, client advocacy, and problem-solving.
• Experience with Car Rental and related ground transportation services, including vendor coordination and policy understanding.
• Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, cross-selling, and maintaining client relationships.
• Knowledge of major GDS or booking platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and basic travel documentation requirements.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
• Comfort working in an on-site agency environment and collaborating with colleagues and suppliers.
• Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a travel-related role is an asset; relevant certification or diploma in travel and tourism is preferred.
