Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location:
Toronto / Brampton, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid

Experience:
4+ Years Required Skills and Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), production support, application support, or DevOps.
• Experience supporting Java-based applications in production environments.
• Good understanding of Java application architecture, application logs, exceptions, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting, and basic automation.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, networking, and application connectivity.
• Experience with incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and change management.




• Basic understanding of databases and SQL for troubleshooting application issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Valuable communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional technical teams. Good to Have
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment tools.
• Understanding of performance monitoring, capacity planning, and application tuning.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Experience working in Agile environments and following ITIL-based operational processes.
