About Us
The LSLIRC-TARR archive —the first accredited First Nations archive in Alberta—holds a wide array of historical records, oral history and other resources used primarily for Specific Claims research, but also as a general resource for Treaty 8 First Nations. The value of this nationally important archive derives from its comprehensive collection of historical records of genealogical, cultural, and legal significance. It is continually strengthened through an ongoing program of obtaining, and safeguarding, written and audio-visual records. Please note that LSLIRC-TARR is only hiring for one position.
