Role Description: This full-time Internal Auditor role is an on-site position based at August Electronics Inc. in Calgary, AB. The Internal Auditor is responsible for planning and executing internal audit engagements across financial, operational, and compliance areas, focusing on risk management and internal controls. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing processes and documentation, performing detailed testing of transactions, preparing explicit audit work papers, and drafting audit reports with findings and recommendations.



The role involves collaborating with finance and operational teams, following up on remediation plans, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. The Internal Auditor also contributes to developing audit methodologies and assists in special projects or investigations as needed.

• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in finance and an understanding of accounting principles and controls.

• Relevant post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., CPA, CIA) are an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing or electronics environments and familiarity with ISO-certified quality systems are beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
