Role Description Grindstone Theatre Society is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support the execution of marketing and promotional activities for the Mainstage Production of Die Harsh: A Christmas Musical. This role works directly under the Marketing Manager and assists with content scheduling, photo & video production, coordination, distribution and outreach. The Social Media Coordinator is not responsible for developing overall marketing strategy but plays a key role in implementing plans, maintaining communication, and ensuring timely delivery of marketing materials for programming. Qualifications
• Post-secondary education or training in Marketing, Communications, Media, Arts Management, or a related field preferred
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in Canva (required)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and basic video editing tools (preferred or solid asset)
• Experience editing short-form video content for social media platforms
• Ability to operate basic marketing equipment including camera equipment and wireless microphones
• Comfortable working with digital tools,



content scheduling platforms, and shared documents
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Comfortable collaborating with artists, creatives, and external partners
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow direction while working independently
• Interest in theatre, comedy, festivals, and live performance is a strong asset
