Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cloud Native Software/Mobile Engineer. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications and cloud-native services that support Maragato Sports’ digital products. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, writing clean and testable code, integrating with APIs and cloud services, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical decisions and architecture. The engineer will also help improve CI/CD pipelines, monitor application health, and address production issues to ensure a high-quality user experience. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and building Mobile Applications for consumer-facing products.
• Hands-on experience with iOS Development, including native frameworks and tools for building scalable apps.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns for maintainable, modular code.
• Solid foundation in general Software Development, including version control, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (e.g., microservices, containers) and working with public cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Comfort with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services into mobile applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development workflows.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in sports, fitness, or consumer mobile products is a plus. Amazing if you have

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications and services.
• Design and implement web services, microservices, and APIs.
• Make architectural decisions related to service boundaries, interfaces, data management, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Develop software that integrates effectively with relational and non-relational databases.
• Apply cloud-native principles and best practices pragmatically.
• Build systems with scalability, reliability, observability, security, and disaster recovery considerations.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design through deployment and production support.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for reliable software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed system and production issues.
• Participate in architecture reviews and establish engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
