Role Description The Journeyman Automotive Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This role involves performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including oil changes, brake services, suspension work, and general mechanical repairs. The technician will inspect vehicles, identify issues, recommend appropriate repairs, and complete work in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Additional responsibilities include documenting work performed, communicating clearly with service advisors and team members, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and using modern tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results.



The technician will contribute to an outstanding customer experience by delivering reliable, efficient service and supporting the shop’s commitment to excellence. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a variety of makes and models.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Oil Changes and routine service inspections.
• Candidates should possess comprehensive Automotive Repair skills, including diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Suspension inspection, repair, and replacement.
• Valid Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification (Red Seal or equivalent) is required. (Skilled Apprentices will be considered)
• Strong understanding of automotive safety standards, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, technical bulletins, and work orders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with customer-facing service environments is an asset.
